HKUD „HERCEGOWAC” – BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The ensemble was founded in 1996. It comprises approx. 100 members. It presents authentic dances, songs and folk melodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has been on tour in Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Italy, USA and Canada. It is a member of IOV (the International Folk Art Organization)

„MAKEDNI” – GREECE

The ensemble has existed since 2000 along with the Cultural Association in Kopani. The dance group comprises 100 people and presents dances and folk songs from many regions of Greece (Macedonia, Ipiros, Thraki, Aegean Islands, M. Asia). The ensemble is accompanied by a folk band using traditional folk instruments. The ensemble has been on tour in many European countries.

„BRANKO RADICEVIC” – SERBIA

The ensemble was founded in 1969 in Ruma. It currently comprises a representative group, 3 children’s groups and a folk band. It presents authentic Serbian dances, songs and folk melodies. It performs in original folk attire. It is one of the best folk ensemble in Vojvodina and has won many awards and commendations at competitions and festivals. It performed in countries such as Romania, Austria, Macedonia, Germany, Poland, Italy and Hungary.

„WA ETHNIC FOLKLORE GROUP OF YUNNAN” – CHINA

The ensemble presents the folklore of the Wa, Dai, Hani, Yi, Han, Tibet and Mongolia regions. Authentic folk instruments are used: Chinese violins, bamboo drums, Bawu flutes and Calabash flutes.

„VESELI GUTSULYATA” – UKRAINE

The ensemble was founded in 1977. It comprises 150 members working in children’s and youth groups. Its repertoire features 50 different Ukrainian folk dances. The ensemble has participated in the International Festival in Myszków, Poland, and attended the Lemko Folklore Festival VATRA several times. It won 1st and 2nd place in the International Folklore and Ethnography Festival “Radoslav” in Ivano-Frankivsk.

„NGATA MEMORIAL COLLEGE MAORI CULTURAL GROUP” – NEW ZEALAND

The ensemble comes from Ruatoria, the Maori region in New Zealand. It is a school ensemble preserving the very original traditions of the Maori region. Their school is named after Sir Apirana Ngata, great leader of the local Ngati Porou tribes. The ensemble is accompanied by Dr Tapsell, Minister of Culture Tonga and Frank Grapl, the president of the Pacific Multicultural Organization.

„THE ARIZONA PRIDE CLOGGERS” – USA

The ensemble was founded in 1980 and is one of the most well-known groups performing clogging in the American west. Arizona Pride offers performances in all styles of clogging – traditional, originating from the South Appalachians, modern, the traditional buck dance, jazz and step dance.
